High Table movie woulda been cool. Did we ever even really see anybody from there, outside of the woman in JW2? Even the Marquis in JW4 was essentially just a minion they promoted.

The guy in the desert was the head guy of the High Table. Pretty sure Scott Adkins character was a member as well

So who knows, but at least they mentioned that she shouldn't be kicking every dude's ass, which is far more than we get in any other girl boss movie.

That's literally the only saving grace this trailer had. They acknowledged the differences and acknowledged she'll have to cheat to win. I'll see this, for now.

Its directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld, that utterly forgotten Total Recall reboot), so I would calibrate your enthusiasm regardless.

(Though I have to admit, I didn't think his Die Hard 4 was terrible.)

higher than i expected, i don't think DEI reviewers give bonus points anymore to white chicks but maybe they do for action movies? sadly i am picking up a switch 2 in a bit and would rather play mario kart than drive to a theater so i'll wait for this on VOD, probably 45 days. gives me enough time to rewatch john wick

Saw it last night, I felt like it was a decent addition to the franchise. It didn’t scream “woman power” to me.

the only “huh?” Part for me was the Black Russian chick. 😂

I thought this was not bad, if a bit overdone - could use some editing, like the first time she spoilers a group of guys, it was pretty cool, but after victim number 40 or so it was wearing a bit thin.
I will say though :

Now starring - Mecha-O'Shane, The Ghoul of Gabriel Byre, Lance Henrickson's ghost and the possibly the real Keanu Reeves?

This the future of cinema - CG is already cheaper than moderately expensive actors, not gonna be long before it's cheaper than any actors.

Caught this with my dad since it was raining.

It was pretty decent. generally I would recommend.

solid action. she does rely mostly on weapons. They do a solid job with making it mostly believable.
they get creative with weapons too. swords, ice-skates, grenades, flamethrowers.

the plot is hot fuzz, john wick.

She does take some knive/axe wounds..which are ignored/healed 5minutes later..

more issues/nitpicks.
flame throwers with no tanks, and unlimited fuel, until the plot calls for it to run out..
she doesn't actually turn the fire hose water on...
katana... in a german village. why the hell wasn't this a long sword,, or arming sword, or something natively traditional? full throw stabbings with a katana.. all the effort into other weapons, and they use a katana, not something cool.
The constantly throwing weapons and having them be fatal. a man wouldn't even be that strong.

the initial norman reedus conversation. why did he hesitate? and talk? the rules of the continental? was it becuase he reckognized her as kikimora? I think this needed to be fleshed out better.
why people sometimes hesitate and why other times its instant kills.

burning kick guy... why the fuck didn't he go for the kill? lame here too. theres nothing to suggest this guy would dick around like that.
wick himself. the movie would have been better without him. what the hell was HE doing at the end? dicking around like John wick wouldn't have done. beating the shit out of her, but not actually stopping her. then helping. but, Wick, would/could have just broken her leg or arm if he wanted to stop her, but not kill her.
should have given her, his bullet proof vest..

"this is suicide, thats john wick." "hes only one man" what a strange thing to say, after the WOMEN has single handedly murdered 35 of your people in the last 6 hours.

the dude leaving at the end, and driving right into her.. what? I mean sure, theres like one road out of town... but then..why were they taking that route at all? that was contrived.
