I also watched this on HBO and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I did get bored about 1/2 way through but I can only watch so many of the same action scenes before I tune out. Also, it may just be because I tuned out but it seemed to be way more hand to hand type fighting than gun play which is less intersting to me.
