A masterpiece as many of Kubrick's movies are. Maybe I'll pick up a 4k copy to go with the collection I already have.

I always wondered how they take these old movies and claim they are 4k remasters.
A good quality 35mm scan can easily do a nice 4k. Depends on the stock and how much grain your want, or if the director is going to go nuts and AI de-noise it though. A 65/70mm print is easily good for an 8k or higher video if that ever happens.

HDR is a semi dubious on these old movies, but I'll take it since I have an Oled.
