Game sucks ass until you get some unlocks too. First game I've seen where attachments can completely change the characteristics of a weapon. It can go from a trash heap to a golden god with just a few unlocks.
It's an interesting system, but it completely fucks new players.

You can earn the unlocks in single player against bots. It's also fast as fuck even at half XP.

Is there anyway you can zoom in the map when selecting a spawn? Ill try and click on the objective to spawn but there will be 2-3 squad members right on top of it so I click on them instead and get cant spawn in combat.

Have you played any Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2,Hekotat ?
I've never really been a fan of the CoD games, I did like the original MW but that's about it. I did dip my toes into it a few months ago for DMZ and it was fun and the game felt good, however, my shit internet with a monthly cap keeps me from keeping up with their weekly 10gb patches.

Well I didn't refund it within the 2 hour window on Steam so it's probably good. My main FPS has been BF1 since whenever that came out (skipped BFV) and 2042 is a nice change of pace. I think I will go back and forth between both.

Play conquest evolve, its all the old maps + new, really great game. Best BF now probably.
They fixed it by adding classes, letting me dial the UI into more immersion/BF2 style, and specialists are basically meta-builds within the class now.
Perfect next gen BF experience.

Actually classes was the worst thing they added.
The best thing they added was fixing the shitty fucking maps, adding new good maps, adding old good maps, and some other QOL stuff.
Now they need to make Rush as good as it was in BF3 and this could actually end up being the best BF game.

Was convinced to pick this up on Steam. The first online match I played, the very first deployment, I fell through the map and died... Outside of that, the game felt like it was "solid". It doesn't look like a bad game. Feels a ton like COD to be honest on initial play. The presentation, the menu's, all these games are just absolute clusterfucks with all this season shit. Too much going on. I really just want a remastered BF 1942 or BF2 to be honest.
I'm sure it's probably decent, but I'm returning it and getting my $15 back because there is zero chance I play this with Battlebit releasing any day now.
