Kinda how I feel. Bought BF1 and while the graphics were awesome I hated what they did to the gameplay. Never bought V or 2042.

BF 5 was great. Limited in gunplay by older wqeapons but man, nothing beat building up sand bags and building a anti tank gun and popping the tanks trying to run to your point. The building defense system in that game was good fun. The Tank assaults through the fields of Holland in one of their operations was top notch. Then they wasted their time on a Battle Royale mode and the game died.

Cheaters more than anything killed BF5 for me. You'd have guys in planes going 338 to 1, snipers at 127 to 2, etc. It got pretty retarded.

Shit plagues every modern shooter. More so in the last 10 yrs than before. I remember Bf3 and 4, and yeah they had their cheaters as well, but they were a rare occurrence. Now it seems like they are everywhere.
