Hell Let Loose has private servers. But that game has a massive cheater problem and it's extremely hard to tell, since they leaned into the "realism" side of things, where basically 1 bullet kills you.

I've only ran into a couple cheaters in that game, luckily it doesn't seem to be a game that attracts that kind of player. Battlefield there is always a couple on each server.

At least we got Operation Firestorm, one of my favorites from BF3. I think that and Tehran Highway were my favs from BF3.

really looking forward to this. Huge fan of battefield series, and it's baffleing there's nothing really close to it's style.
I've resorted to playing the Finals because at least it has the level of destruction I enjoyed from BC2 onwards.
B2-bc2-bf2142-bf3-bf4 were great times. 100's of hours into each of them. even hardline!

BF3 to 2042 are on sale on Steam through August 11. I was surprised to see BF4 still had 2500 players on steam, with 1, V and 2042 still having 7k, 5k and 3k respectively. They on sale for about $4 each. I picked up V and 2042, and I’ll probably get 4 and 1 since they have enough players to find games.

I'm a fucking degenerate piece of shit and will be there on day 1 with the homies. There's some retarded part of me that loves the Battlefield games. It's probably the fact that BC2 is my favorite FPS of all-time and I'm still chasing that dragon.

if you are on PC can just sub to EA Play Pro a day or two before release, play for 15-20 days, and if you like it you'll get a 10% discount with pro (cancel pro after you buy the game). pro is $16/mo i think and PC/xbox only

So vehicles are no longer selected at the spawn screen instead theyre back to spawning around capture points like in BF4.
