Watching zac efron get blown up was funny but a live action trailer seems so dumb. I don't want movie.
I want gameplay, shows maps you didnt have in the beta, or even game modes.

If after 3 weeks you still are horny for the game, you can buy it with a 10% discount too so its a pretty good deal (for us). i guess retards who forget to cancel their sub is what EA is counting on
i'm probably gonna go that route, while long term i'd probably prefer playing on PS5 since my old ass hands can't do kbm for a long time, i'll check it out on my gaming PC which hasn't launched a game in like a year

This sounds so great. My usual problem is I will quit after 2-3 weeks, but eventually go back months later at least 2 more times, usually more. So buying it works better for me in the long run. I've yet to buy a BF game and get under 100 hours out of it, so good bargains for me at least.
I had fun in beta, and I've read some of the changes they made since then : auto spot marker nerfs, the sniper reflection spotlights got toned way down, shotgun nerfs apparently and others, that should make it better. So I will very most likely buy it before the 10th. Without that weekend, would of waited a couple weeks. Hell I put almost 20 hours in those weekends alone.

So now that I’ve converted back fully to PC, how are the cheaters in this on PC? Is it as bad as everyone says? Console supposedly wins here but with cross play everywhere Console to inhibit cheaters won’t matter for shit when the lobby is also full of PC players anyway.

BF1942 was the GOAT. Being able to steer subs, aircraft carriers, group up in bombers, it was awesome. I used to have fun T-boning the Jap ships with the US carrier and seeing if I could get them to roll in the water. Ejecting out of fully loaded bombers as the pilot was pretty fun too. RIP those brave souls that didn't know their pilot jumped out.

Cheaters are going to be out of control, they still plague most BF servers (BF1, BF4 and BFV). Many are the same people that have been doing it since the games launched (I remember them harassing us before). I wouldn't expect much to be done about it.

BF5 had massive, massive cheating problems. If they don't allow true public servers, I'd expect more of the same. It'll probably be less likely in the first few weeks, though.

Even the community servers are plagued with hackers in BF1. Most of the time they are defended by the mods themselves, meaning they are either in on it or trolling.

Yeah, cheating has basically become a built-in feature of online FPS games at this point. The only title that's managed to keep it under control is Valorant. But of course, gamers collectively lost their minds over the idea of an anti-cheat that actually works. Apparently, giving a program kernel-level access is some horrifying invasion of privacy because everyone's convinced their PCs contain state secrets, when in reality it's just a glorified shrine of outdated memes and furry porn. So instead, we all get to enjoy wallhacks, aimbots, and "totally legit" headshots in every lobby.
