I used to play that way as recon with the KST LMG or the standard Sniper Rifle but once I got past level 120 or so, I never get paired with people that are still. Everyone knows to keep moving or they’ll be sitting ducks for recons. which forced me to learn to play in shorter rangers running around. With the smg do small bursts, too. Don’t hold down the trigger bc that’s when the precision gets thrown off.

I never get paired with people under 100 anymore. The other day I played a game against someone with 500 which is insane as I’m only level 132

I ended up going back to M16 as an Engineer. How did you like it?

Some more updates:

- They removed the heavy armor upgrade for tanks
- The lock-required missile for the IFV will now auto-target & launch at ground targets. I think you can do air targets if someone else paints them.
- Thermal smoke for the tanks now kills people standing next to the tank, and it'll also disable c4.
- I think they buffed the armor piercing rounds?

Two bugs -

1. You can stand on a friendly tank and drop a mortar tube in front of it to blow it up.

2. If you have canister rounds as a secondary on your tank, you can swap back and forth between primary & secondary a few times to glitch out the game. What this does is essentially give you bird shot of whatever your primary round is (e.g. 10+ TOW missiles at once).

They also nerfed Mini Scout damage :( RIP to my fav sniper.

Despite putting in thousands of hours in to the BF series, I never played 2042 -- so I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to. I Googled it, and I guess 2042 had some sort of solo/co-op mode with bots?

BF 6 has several modes that also have bots. Casual Breakthrough has 64 players, only 16 (8 per team) are human. It's easy, but a great place to grind shitty weapon levels. You can also queue for casual REDSEC with similar rules.

Very recently, they also added solo queue REDSEC. I'm really not in to that style of play but I ran a few matches earlier today and managed to win one. It seemed super sweaty.

There is a single player campaign, I've never dabbled in it tho. Casual breakthrough used to be a good casual experience for people but sweats spend their time in there re-leveling their weapons after their main accounts get banned for cheating. Conquest can be pretty brutal too. If you run into people who are landing consecutive headshots with guns that have erratic recoil, just report them.

Thank god for tanks.

Wake Island is coming out in a few weeks, with that they're adding the F-14 2 seater.

Been finally getting around to learning the transport helo. It's a boat in the sky but when you get the hang of it, it is a lot of fun jumping from the cockpit to gunner seat and back to take out the Apaches & Little Birds that are ignoring you.
