So what is the best Tales of gem according to this forum let me know and take you vote

anyway have fun and explain why you chose your Tales of Game and why you think that it is the best in the series.
I also will only cover the mainline games otherwise the list would be to long.
Don't worry there are no wrong opinions besides the one that disagree with me of course ;)

Voted on behalf of my wife as she has played these and I have not. She likes all of them that she has played and almost chose Zestiria because it was the first one she played and holds a special place in her heart. I'm just happy that someone is playing all these games I've picked up on some Steam sale, but will probably never get around to playing. She's currently playing through the entire "Legends of Heroes" series, already did all three Trails of Sky and is working through the Cold Steel ones now. I want to be an old school RPG player, but often don't have the patience for some of the older ones anymore.

Edit: She chose Berseria because she thought the story line was really good and she really likes the characters. She also likes that ones particular "style" without being able to really articulate beyond that.

Tales of Berseria is quite good and my first Tales of game was Tales of Graces f i think so it kind of has a special place for me.
Anyway in terms of best game hm this is quite hard it would be either Tales of Graces or Tales of Berseria for me personally.

Personally I liked Berseria. Finished that twice myself (console and PC) and is the only Tales game I've finished more than once. Liked the combat most in that and the "darker" story.

Other than that Vesperia (def edition) and Abyss. Quite a few of them I haven't played though.

Rhanyn Rhanyn "legend of Heroes" series is god tier RPG gaming. The older games in the series have excellent voice acting mods.

I picked bersaria because of the characters, but Xilia 1 gets an honorable mention because grinding that super high level before youre supposed to and breaking the game is pretty fun.
