I get all my nerd news from JunkiesNation nowadays.

*Edit* Not really. I only visit JunkiesNation once a month or so to hunt for grammar mistakes in their stories while I'm bored.

*Edit 2* I especially like finding old stuff Draegan wrote that is full of examples of "would of".

The problem with the new design is that it was less scannable than the old one. Images on the left meant shit moved around the page (and really what images are you going to see on the site? linux logos? beakers?), not enough of a visual break between the stories and who needs text that bloody big?
