The chart is a mess if support breaks here. One thing though it cant account for is forced liquidation. If enough people on margin were buying after that May low, liquidation could drive the price down well below that 80k mark, at least for a short period.

If it could drop another 5, 10, or even 20 thousand in the next 3 days I would really appreciate it. I have some money becoming fluid on Wed and would love to buy while its under 100k.

Yeah, the possibility of a big winter sale on BTC is quite enticing. I picked up some at 100k, i'll probably pick up more at the high 80's if it gets there. If it gets all the way back down to 60k or so I'll take out a second mortgage.

Was kind of curious about this. I feel like a spot liquidation/rebound would almost certainly happen outside of U.S. market hours. Pretty sure the other big crashes have all occurred in the middle of the night (U.S. time).

Not saying it isn't worth putting in some orders- especially if you don't think the rebound would be quick or significant.

Not giving you advice and also not suggesting that a bear market is here or otw, but understand that if we are in or entering a bear market, it can (and probably will) last longer than 12 months

I guess the only urgency for me is having 50k in a savings account, which depreciates through inflation.

Looking for stuff that beats inflation, with a max investment horizon of 10 years, bonus if it is semi-liquid.

Don't get me wrong, I'm heavily invested in BTC for that same reason, and I don't plan to sell anytime soon. Over time, BTC easily beats USD when it comes to value/beating inflation. Key words = over time.

Was just saying if you had a 12 month horizon, I'd be cautious with BTC now. I mean, I'd be cautious with just about anything about now.

Again, I'm not even saying don't buy. I'm about to buy another chunk of BTC myself. But you might want to DCA a bit, rather than throw in the whole 50k at once. Patience will probably be rewarded here.
