Yea Binance was allegedly pulling a move with their synthetic stablecoin very similar to what FTX + Tera/Luna did. Trump pardoned CZ (Binance CEO) so I suspect there is some sort of chicanery going on there. I'm still not convinced we're truly in a bear and we're doing the whole 4-year cycle thing again, but I have to admit its looking more likely by the day.A lot of blame starting to go around in crypto circles targeting the CEXs for october last year, causing a institutional drop of trust
Wait a minute…Binance was allegedly pulling a move with their synthetic stablecoin

Meh plenty of people had valuable land in Detroit 50-60 years ago that is dirt cheap today but I do agree with you overallNot really.
Just think of land. It is not going to lose all of its value, unless it gets nuked, in which case you have a bigger problem.

Sure, I mean the ability to transmit value anywhere in the world without needing to trust any third party, or the even the other party of the transaction, with instant* final settlement has "no factual reason" to be valuable. There is no factual reason that prevents BTC from losing 99.99% of its value or more.
