Been watching the Alpha of this game for a while and finally decided to buy it on sale. First time I have purchased an Early Access in quite a while but I think it has been worth it.

Your experience will vary greatly depending on your captain, mainly, but also your team composition. But, when you have a good captain, and a crew that can communicate, take care of business, and throw some humor in, it's as fun as online gaming gets, in my opinion.
It's in Alpha so still some flakiness and they could really use some more content, but there is enough there now to have some fun. I've logged about 20 hours into it and it's still a blast.
BTW, would be a great candidate for drunken gaming night.
