Oh man. "the greatest movie of all time!!!" Saw it and couldn't tell you a single thing about it today besides that there was a lot of "powerful scenes".

To this day, it still is, and shall forever remain unwatched. There are just mysteries of the Orient I will not be able to discover the secrets of with my Western eyes...

I just know about the hullabaloo about the film through sheer osmosis, and despite having watched a bunch of crappy movies, I don't think I'll ever get around to checking it out.

Rather go watch a kroenen shark movie. At least I know I'll probably enjoy it on some level.
