I'm a sucker for cop/detective shows, completely missed this one. Lots of familiar faces from NYPD blue, Homicide life on the street etc. Watching season 1 atm, lots of great cameos so far. Thirteen seasons, gonna take a while to finish.

Is German TV that bad that you enjoy watching the shitty American TV shows?

I guess this keeps in the tradition of Baywatch and Hasselhoff being big in Germany...

What happens first always appears better and more original than what comes after. Power depends on appearing larger than other people, and when you are lost in the shadow of the father, the king, the great predecessor, you cannot possibly project such a presence.
