This is what it looks like when people only look at the things about a group that they do not like without ever knowing, having any real personal experience with, any of the individuals that make up that group.

This was a huge disappointment. It wasnt very funny and was extremely forced.

I watched this last night, and it was just ok. It's definitely not even close to being as good as the first one. During the Rudy stuff, all I could keep thinking is why isn't his people vetting people properly? How in the world do they get that interview setup so easily.

I'm not sure it was supposed to be a Borat sequel in that sense.

As mentioned earlier, he pulled this movie out of his ass. It had a few laughs for fans of the character. I enjoyed the Holohoax part where he was deeply affected by the realization the Holocaust never happened, but for different reasons. There were definitely a few high points.

I doubt it was easy. Rudy had no idea Borat was there until he burst into the room. From the attempted skit where Borat tried to go to a CA gun store it seems that the setup is like this.
  • An interview is arranged by some front organization of contractors who most likely claim to represent the parent organization (say MSNBC) or whatever the parent production company is. This is not a lie, just mild deception.
  • They all act professional and shit and Rudy's dudes have no way of knowing that these guys are actually production crew for Borat's shit rather than their other programs. Borat is not present at all during this part.
  • The interview is set and planned and then at the last moment, Borat jumps in and accuses you of pedophilia.
The gun shop guys said that the production guys came in all wearing jew hats and said they were filming a documentary about an immigrant and his experiences in the US. Dudes tried to be accommodating and let the crew in but they recognized SBC in disguise and told him to fuck off. Rudy had no opportunity to do that as he had no idea the guy was there.

Completely understand why. That said, anyone that actually watched Borat and thought it was representative of actual Kazakhs are dumb as fuck.

Those two guys he stayed with were pretty cool dudes lol. I sure as fuck wouldn’t take some random weirdo into my home for a week. That’s definitely some southern hospitality there. And then they went out of the way to help him out too. He must have felt bad fucking with them during that
