That was pretty funny, worth checking out especially since the first episode is up on youtube. Its already been renewed for season 2 as well.

watched the whole season, its pretty good although i really don't understand how it even got greenlit - a show about a 50-something, alcoholic utterly dysfunctional man and the story revolves around baseball. Not a single thing any 20-something would give a shit about. Amanda Peet in her underwear (sadly no nudity) is awesome. Funny/sad, interesting ending, just 8 22 minute episodes so worth a watch if you are looking for something. Hank Azaria is great, although I wonder about his acting range - its almost the same character he had in Ray Donovan, which was a great character to be fair.
