the city is awesome, you really can't go wrong but do this on the first day you can - it's really good and orients you - and it's free! plus you can actually meet some locals.

Budapest was awesome. Didn't get to look around as much as I wanted, but it is a great city with cool people. I definitely recommend going there.
Also, it is cheap as fuck to drink there.

Budapest is really cheap, went there for a psytrance festival two weeks ago, and everything was dirt cheap. The food was absolutely terrible though, worst area for food I've ever been at. It's like they got the rest of Europe's left overs that didn't sell. It's a giant shit hole as well, I could tell a lot of people where I drove through had no electricity for their homes, just really poor.
