See the title.

There is a concept in evolution called filtering. It's very likely that a "great filter" caused the rapid adaptation to lactose in norther European populations. Without this great filter to temper a population, can other populations call themselves "white"?

Lactose tolerance doesn't make you White, but you can't be White if you are lactose intolerant.

Completely retarded idea. Lactose tolerance emerged in Nigeria, Sudan, and the Middle East at the same rates as in Northern Europe. Its as much an African trait as a White trait. "You can't be black if you're lactose intolerant!"

Theres probably even some Asian populations that have it, although I don't see a paper saying that.

Its just a consequence of having ancestors that raised cattle.

Some people are crossbred with rice subsisting soy infused weaklings, sorry if that's you.

Some people's ancestors are pure meat eating cowboys. Yes that puts lactose intolerants below Black people in the racial heriarchy on this issue.

Even those northern populations have only around 80% lactose tolerance.

Its not even evolutionarily advantageous; its just founder effect. Its like having freckles or red hair or something.

So its (a) not even remotely about race, and (b) not an evolutionary advantage.

You're proud cause you can drink cow secretions without getting a belly ache. I don't drink cow secretions and achieve the same goal. We are not the same

Someone made a thread about lactose intolerant people not being white, it's not a topic worthy of serious debate.

The funniest thing to do is to take it seriously and hope some lactose intolerant racists get upset that they are less genetically superior than black people. The best thing is that it's kinda true.

Having an additional nutrient source is evolutionarily advantageous. Being white is all about living in an inhospitable place and having alternate nutrient sources eg pale skin helping synthesise Vitamin D.

How can you be proud of not being able to eat delicious foods like cheese, cream, milk and ice cream?

No, it actually was. It made our ancestors bigger, stronger, and healthier. When they came into contact with other puny tribes they were able to whip their asses and take their stuff.
