Sci-fi dungeon crawler in the tradition of Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder, Black Crypt and Hired Guns. It is inspired by the 1990 Amiga / Atari ST classic Captive, with tile-based movement, real-time combat, resource management, maze exploration, and infinite deterministically generated levels, rendered in a first-person perspective.

I’m never sure how to feel about real-time tile-based. Always seems wrong, I’m not sure why real-time is viewed as a good upgrade from turn based while maintaining a tile-based movement and map system.

I wish Grimrock had been turn based, actually.
