So, generally a player loses college eligibility once they've declared for the NFL draft, but they did put a rule in place that allows players to declare in order to get feedback from NFL teams, then return if they withdraw before the deadline. But they cannot have an oral or written agreement with an agent or accepted benefits such as an invitation to the NFL scouting combine. They have 72 hours to talk to teams, then they must declare their intention to resume college football, otherwise they lose their remaining eligibility.Ok I'm not knowledgeable on it fully but how do rules go for staying in college? If you enter the draft there is no turning back? I can't remember. Thought they made rule changes
Weren't they talking about a dude this year who was drafted and didn't want to play for the team and threatened to go back to college? If memory serves, it would require a legal challenge but the barstool lawyers felt it was a slam dunk case that the NCAA might not even bother to fight. So, generally a player loses college eligibility once they've declared for the NFL draft, but they did put a rule in place that allows players to declare in order to get feedback from NFL teams, then return if they withdraw before the deadline. You can only do this once. If you declare for the draft the next year, there are no take-backsies.
I just know the rule...I don't know if it's legally enforceable. The argument used to be that you were no longer an amateur once you accepted money or hired an agent...now with all NIL deals, there's not really an argument for that now.Weren't they talking about a dude this year who was drafted and didn't want to play for the team and threatened to go back to college? Apparently it's something they already allow in basketball and baseball.
I was wondering about that too until the latest episode where we found out he fucked the coaches wife and wife told everyone on camera that she had just fucked russ
I thought it was going to go this way:This last was definitely a downer, so much for him getting with the daughter lol
Nah she isn’t aware he is Russ. She was uncomfortable bc her husband is absent. So does the mom know for sure he's Russ? They made it seemed like she did but her actions didn't make sense
The agent and money aspects may technically still be in a rule but they really no longer exist anymore. High school kids are hiring agents now for negotiating their NIL. The 72 hour window to return to college post declaration still exists though the NCAA will likely roll over if somebody sues.I just know the rule...I don't know if it's legally enforceable. The daughter coach gives me Jennifer Aniston vibes. Curious to see how the season ends...guessing he reconciles with his dad, the gay kid gets an internship with the dad, and Russ ends up with the daughter coach and an NFL tryout. Kinda hoping I'm surprised and it's not all happy endings, though.
I refer to my parents by their first name when talking about them. I say "Mom" to my mother, but when I refer to her to others, I use her first name. You're probably right.I don't think that's Ricky's mom. They haven't explicitly said it, but she always mentions her by her name instead of "mom" whenever talking about her. She might still be annoyed he slept with her step-mom, but it's a bit different than sleeping with her actual mother.
Because she got stuck in the laundry machine?I also got the impression that Wendy was the step mom
