Georgia game, playoffs/heisman/football future, wife affair, Ricky, heart attack, roommate. It's almost too much that I suspect Russ will come clean and there won't be any resolution besides Russ becoming nicer and more like Chad. They haven't announced a second season but i suppose they could draw most out until later but that would be highly unsatisfying.

If this was paced like Lasso there would be episodes and development for the WR, QB coach, roommate, and others but they haven't shown any willingness to go there outside single lines of dialog hinting at character development.

I think the splintering sub plots if why I stopped watching Ted Lasso. I liked Season 1 but I didn’t even make it 1/2 through season 2 due to this issue.

same reason I dropped off orange is the new black.

I’d much rather a tighter knit plot than individual character dramas and character vignettes. that’s probably why I prefer movies over tv.

What in the world ever gave you the idea that a prison show about fat ugly dykes would be good. I mean yeah if they were all skinny with big fake tits it might have been worth a watch but not with that disgusting cast.

Hmm, can't remember what made me watch that. Are you sure they were all fat ugly dykes?

Also, TBH, natasha lyonne is pretty awesome and that was where I first saw her.

wait that was the end of the fucking season? They made a whole show from an SNL comedy skit about a pro-athlete going back and pretending to be a unknown college sports ball player....and they've included zero fucking comedy, zero pro-athlete and zero sports ball?

I didn't believe it either, but I found an article and yeah that's season 1. If they get renewed, they plan to make 3 seasons of the show that cover 1 season of football. They haven't really addressed it yet, but russ probably only has 1 season of eligibility left.

I haven't still watched the Finale but it sounds like more drama than humor? Think the show is best with mostly humor. The guy just run with his different personalities
