I'm sure 7 will be a good game in a decade and will play it more then.

I've got plenty of options for complete 4x games atm

I'm still on 5 and not quite ready to move over to 6. Trying to finish the Hall of Fame with each leader in alphabetical order.

Im still on 4. Doing a cave man to cosmos on the longest game setting. It's been the same game this whole time

I played enough of V and monitored enough of VI and VII to know I didn't want to even buy those. At this point I feel like buying these newer Civ games is akin to paying to go to trash new Star Wars movies. They can assassinate one of my favorite franchises; I'm not going to give them money for it. You have a recipe made by a genius, and then these retards who think they're smarter than the genius come in and significantly change things instead of just tweaking around the edges with nicer graphics.

They'll keep doing the same formula ever again : release an unfinished product -> it's a mess -> market the products shelf life as "patches / seasons / addons / DLC / free content -> years after, it's somewhat doing okay -> release an unfinished product.

I mean there's australian sharks out there being less greedy.
