Fortells first, more stacks the better, use sun attacks to spend them turning her to twilight mode for her huge damage attacks. Repeat. You can tell which are which as well using the symbols in the top right of her skills. Good mix of low and high skill costs go a long way because if you have to standard attack with her you lose a ton of damage. It is the reason I don’t use her yet.
Monoco is insanely good support character, got him setup to round one shell which also applies powerful and gave him +to both of those so longer and stronger. Then he can either do insane break bar damage or some nasty single target he is just RNG with what mask comes up.

Also team are made left to right so equip first strike on whoever you want to always go first, remove all party members except the one you want on the left then add the other two back in whatever order you want. For me and first strikes it is Monoco for buffs, Verso for dmg and marks, then Maelle to take advantage of marks.
Not sure First Strike actually works as you imply here. In my experience with it, there were only 2 cases where the character with it equipped would attack first: The enemy got to initiate combat, or a boss would normally attack first. In all other chases I've had, with FS on Verso, he would attack second.

I got the RPG itch right now, dont think I will continue any NG+.

BG3 or Metaphor to follow this game?
I haven't played either of those, but from what I have read about them, go with BG3 if you want a really dense, long game or Metaphor if you want a shorter, more streamlined game.

BG3 for sure but there are others if you have not played them which also are great like rogue Trader and Pathfinder. Both have great stories, great combat and deep RPG building elements.

Fair but putting FS and dude on the left ensures I always get to apply all the buffs round 1.

french movies dramas... they can get pretty tense, uneasy to watch and dark. but more refined then Germans and Brits imo. On Italians...can only relate with porn.
anyway, they should be in the best position to dish out some form of Bloodborne or vampire games which is right up their alley

First strike only applies if enemy is going to go first. Otherwise round one is always determined by party order, and round 2+ are based on speed stat.

I found BG3 gameplay boring enough that it made me stop caring about the story. Just dialogue tree after dialogue tree bookended with snoozer combat.

Running auto death party for NG+. Engage -> party dies and kills everything from on death effects -> back to business. Wonder how far it'll get me before I have to start attacking for real again.

Bought it this weekend. Installed it, played to the first real boss fight with 1-shot kills. QTE responsiveness is complete ass. Contemplating uninstalling.

Gay. If that review is right I’m glad I didn’t buy this one. Sounds pretty lame just timing attack responses for 40 hrs of gaming. Like some stunted version of a souls game. RPG should mean your character building and strategic options are all that matters, not some weird dodge/parry mechanic they threw in. Unless you wanna say it’s more of an arpg - I guess a turn based ‘arpg’ is that a thing now?

Rolled credits at level 92…definitely over leveled as I basically one shot the boss.

My GoTY for sure, started NG+ but wonder if I will stick with it.
