Naomi Ackie in Early Talks to Join Tom Rhys Harries to Star in ‘Clayface’ (Exclusive)

So this is a Mike Flanagin body-horror script with minor punch ups from the writer of Drive, and will be the first R rated DCEU movie. I have fond memories of this Batman villain from TAS.

The project is described as having shades and structure of The Fly, David Cronenberg's 1986 that starred Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis and centered on the tragic relationship between a scientist who becomes fused with the DNA of a fly and the journalist writing about his discovery.

Clayface, which sources have said will have a budget in the mid-$40 million range, centers on an ascending actor whose face is disfigured by a gangster. As a last resort, the actor turns to a fringe Elizabeth Holmes-style scientist for help. At first, the experiment is a successful but … well, it wouldn't be a horror movie if the story ended right there, would it?

  • If Rated PG-13, not cool
Not going to pay to see it, though. 🎵 Yo-ho-ho hoe, it's the pirates life 4 me! 🎶
However, if it's like really good I would consider buying a physical copy. Clayface in tAS was fucking awesome.

in batman , the animated series (which mostly isolated the villians/heroes into a low power setting), clayface seemed like the most powerful villian. just in terms of the fuckery he could easily get away with, and could mmonster out. i'll peep that trailer later.
