Clayface (2026)

I can't see anything remotely interesting about this C list villain worth making a movie about. It's Gunn verse so how is it going to be scary with all his scat jokes and male frontal nudity and whyte peepo bad?

before watching: -lol yeah female black scientist. as always... but im sure she will be just a bit part, the doctors were never a major part of Clayface's story...


watch the trailer: lol. oh. lol. yeah. in every scene of the trailer. yeah, love interest and moral grounding. will be the hero as he turns his rage on her. 100%.
like The Fly, but her testing shit on him, instead of brundle accidently doing it to himself... Film will 100% not blame her for anything of her unethical human testing. maybe some minor words, but it won't treat her like the villain for doing this.

If it was Matt Reeves I could see it working but this is a Gunn production. It's going to be dumb like peacemaker and supergirl.

In the batman/penguinverse sure I'd give it a shot. But not Gunn.
