Vhs quality is trash but they are pretty collectible again if you have the covers.

I do this, too. In fact, just last night I went through my CDs with my son. He loves music and likes to listen to stuff he doesn't know. He actually has very good taste in both music and film. I have roughly 8K cds and probably 2,500 movies.
