Ruh roh... That was kindof out of the blue (investigation has been known for years, but never seemed to go anywhere), but looks like football may receive very little penalties (if any). But still interesting none-the-less

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources...193911274.html

The NCAA has formally charged the University of Mississippi with dozens of rules violations in three sports, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports.
The school has received a Notice of Allegations from the NCAA enforcement staff alleging roughly 30 violations in football, women's basketball and track and field, sources told Yahoo. It is unclear at present what the breakdown is in terms of violations by sport. The NCAA does not comment on current, pending or potential investigations.

This dates back to several years ago. Their opening offer to football is 2 years probation, 9 schollies over 3 years. Not a big deal.

Lawsuit: Tennessee coach Butch Jones called player a 'traitor'

University of Tennessee football coach Butch Jones told one of his players he "betrayed the team" after the wide receiver helped a woman who said she was raped by two other football players, according to a new legal filing in a sweeping lawsuit filed by six women against Tennessee.

Sophomore Drae Bowles "broke down and cried" after speaking with his coach, the lawsuit said.

Jones later called Bowles back to apologize for calling him "a traitor to the team," according to the suit.

The two calls with Jones came after Bowles was punched in the mouth and bloodied by teammate Curt Maggitt as retribution inside the UT locker room, according to the new filing.

There is zero percent chance that happened. He has instantly suspended anyone accused of anything since he got there and multiple players have said he explicitly told them not to hold Bowles against him.

Other shit concerns me, this does not.

Tennessee already spent a lot of cred in this situation when they got Peyton's back after he rubbed his butthole all over that poor lady. They can't have Butch walk into a courtroom representing Tennessee and have to explain what he ment when he called that young man a traitor after he was beaten by a player who had raped a lady.
