i hope its not (a) swapping universes ala that Worf TNG episode or (b) she's in the matrix

its weird how Apple TV has released a TON of sci fi in the past few years. For All Mankind, Foundation, Invasion, Silo, See, Severence, just on and on. On the other hand I barely know anybody watching any of these shows.

First episode was ok ISH. Really can't be bothered with another mystery box show that doesn't explain anything though. There was no real big cataclysmic event or cliffhanger either.

Part way through e2, this has a lot of promise.

Heres hoping it doesnt go the way of True Detective S3.

(Lost used to be the reference point for fucking terrible endings, but obviously that records been blown out of the fucking water now)

This is a weird show. I don't know that I'd count it as a 'mystery box' though, it seems to make it pretty clear what's going on.

this show is basically the story of how they fired up CERN and it split reality in two. just with different tech details
I dunno if they're gonna fuck up the ending but if you like weird reality bending theories this show is great

I saw Gravity for the first time last month (in 3D, no less) and it was mostly very enjoyable. And now that I've seen it, I have no desire to ever see it again.

I have a very high end set of headphones. I can blast the sound with that and not wake the kids up, sleeping in the next room. So "close enough". But my 3D TV is the tits. A shame they don't make them any more... Eventually, I'll have to swap out for a 3D projector, which they still make.

How well are they able to replicate the directional sound of a 5.1 or 7.1 system with 2+ height speakers? eg George Clooneys radio voice should sound like it's moving around the room etc
