Hundred(s) of dollars so that you can have a character that persists when the game launches 3 or 4 years from now. Great investment, everyone!
At this early stage it's more about helping a game we want to play come to fruition than whatever bullshit comes with the packages. If you're a PVPer who wants the industry to know there is a market for PvP games, you have an opportunity to vote with your wallet.

No point in even trying to nail down when this shit is going to happen. They have no real idea when it's going to get released and they have no contractual obligation to hit any dates.

This thread is a very interesting plunge into addictive personality. It serves as a decent poster child.

So I don't really know what the differences is between the dregs and the shadow

In the dregs Is there friendly fire? Is there no ability to drop guild in the shadow? Are only two guilds allowed in The Shadow, making it an instanced battleground for your guild?

I also don't know how one is declared a winner or loser in the dregs.

also 206k. Better start putting up stretch goals and introducing feature creep in your product?

Crowfall - Throne War PC MMO by ArtCraft Entertainment, Inc. Kickstarter

Seems like the EK is all about having a monarch that rules a world, then distributes land to its members and they can use that land to build stuff using resources from the campaigns. It also seems like a monarch has to earn the ability to have land/titles to give away to people.

But what's the purpose of the land/buildings in the EK? Is it just a trophy case or is it a way to bring resources into campaigns?

$215 for me. I really like the campaign ideas they are talking about. And the combat looks decent too. (More dynamic, less tabbing) Now they just need to show some healing ideas/schemes.

I'll try to looking deeper into this after work but have they spoken directly to the traditional trinity?

Four roles:

Tank (evasion + mitigation)
Damage
Specialist (think crafting and harvesting skills - digging proficiencies etc)
Support (buffs and area control effects most likely) Less dedicated healing

(very speculative information)

They've expressed their distinct deviation from the trinity style and instead are taking a more in-combat healing approach. Likely based around lifesteal (as this is a primary stat on equipment from what little I could glean from screenshots and articles) and some form of support healing (speculating this being like regen buffs and guardian style stuff, maybe a mix between ESO and GW2).
