looks like a walking simulator to me. Or is that the one where they had one 5090 doing the game and the other 5090 doing the DLSS? TBH doesn't matter to me I have an AMD 7900 XTX and zero desire to obliterate my power bill and/or burn my house down.
Wait do the AMD cards burn your house down, or are we talking the Nvidia one?

My AMD card has (3) 8 pin tried and true PCI-E cables attached, I think (don't know for sure) that some of the 9XXX series cards went to that connector that likes to catch fire.

The 9070xt Sapphire Nitro+ (their highest cooler tier) uses the new connector. People were not happy about it since they are considered one of the better AMD partner brands and nearly every other brand and model stayed with 8-pins.

Sapphire Nitro 9070XT, Asrock Taichi 9070XT, and some of the "creator" branded 9070XTs do too. Maybe some others. The ~325w of the 9070XT should mean that melting cables should be much rarer if there is current imbalance.

i'm sure a lot of the fires were caused, b/c nerds didn't have the finger strength to properly seat the new connector

Pretty much what I believe was "most" of the problem with the 40x0 Nvidia series. My ROG 4090, the connector seems fragile af. But there is a slit in the female connector that lets you see if its plugged in all the way / crooked. If these retarded fucks cant put a square block into another square block, straight, and then bend the pins...well.. I dont know if Nvidia is completely at fault for that.

I would love to say that playable realism is right around the corner. But ffs, we said that like what.. early 2010's? Then, as the years passed us by - AAA shit just seems to have gotten worse. Using the processing power for all this shit to shore up shitty coding. Crimson Desert maxxed out was the first "playable" game Ive played in a long time that looked really good from up close to insanely far away.

I have never played the DLC, but did most of the base game about 2 years ago?

Figured I would maybe look at mods. But don't know which ones are good or bad.

Now I could take the time to look at what is there, find some that works for me. But that would take time, so I got tempted by the "one click modpack" so I did the click and am now installing 1257 mods. Should be fine right?

I did a playthrough earlier this year because I had never played the DLC and I had my new computer. I decided to go ahead and mod it and did the same thing as you. I forget which one it was but it was pretty massive.

I did run into some issues with some of the story stuff specifically for the DLC and having to go back and reload in the old save because something wasn't working. I ended up turning off a bunch of the stuff other than leaving some of the quality of life and weapons and whatnot available.

Biggest problem I had there was I started getting quick save and save file corruption happening all the time. I don't know what it is and apparently it's a well-known problem, and when I played the game originally there wasn't anything like that but one of their last big updates apparently screwed something up, and I don't know if I ever got fixed.

It was a lot of fun though.

Bah, the only mods Cyberpunk needs is one of theCyanideX's LUTs (most of his other mods are improvements too, but a good LUT is by far the most impactful change you can make) and the texture mod that removes the nonsensical tranny flag from Claire's truck. Not gonna find that second one on Nexus, obviously.

I can't even imagine what the hell someone could be doing to need 1000+ mods in their collection. Even 100 is mindboggling for anything that isn't a Bethesda game.

I haven't looked at what was being installed, but as you said that I figured I would look and see just what I am installing.

There seems to be a lot hair mods, cars, weapons, skins, jewelry, stores? and the likes. And just looked at one go through that just adds commas to the numbers. Now it installed around 10+ mods of different versions of Phoebie legging mods. But then it installed quest fixes, ragdoll phsx overhaul, accurate lighting, car audio overhaul, which all sound good. Then sexy boots for Raven. It's all over the place, lol.

Yeah, I figured most of it would be mods for a single texture and stuff like that. Still though, 1000+ is wild.

Night City 3.0: 1,000+ Mods

Is what I am downloading.
I don't know if that was the one that I did, but it was kind of a big overhaul.

My biggest thing was just additional weapons, and some stuff with your cybernetics. There's a really cool flying car mod that's awesome. Added a bunch of other vehicle mods and motorcycles.

I didn't have anything though that screwed around with changing main characters appearances and doing all the sexy BS that I guess a lot of people use.

Just give me some new pistols and some swords, maybe better inventory management, and I'm good to go.

Infinite weight and inventory is a must have IMO. Remove that whole rage inducing aspect entirely.

Was it 'wabajack' or the like? If so yeah you will be fine. In fact I prefer doing it that way. Last playthru I spent about a week getting CP the way I wanted it.
But I used Wabajack for Fallout NV and it was awesome and fast.

EDIT: replied too soon see what you did. I have not tried that one. Let me know what you think. I'm about due for another CP run. All I recall that I added was one that let me add cars from RL and one that allowed me to make my own radio station so I could play my own songs.
