New Dungeons Dragons Game Sword Coast Legends Coming in 2015 - IGN

So it looks like the 4v1 human controlled gameplay trend has reached Dungeons and Dragons. Makes very much sense in the context of the genre. I've been expecting this for some time really. Either from D&D or some other pen and paper property

It sounds like a modern Never Winter Nights where I guess one player will have more direct control?

That's the notion I had as well. I suspect it will be very much like a NWN module, but with the added interactive touch of having a real life person apply dynamic content.

I wonder if it is more Evolve or more Dungeon Keeper

NWN was an amazing game and I played a ton of it with friends. Something like this would be great.
