Pronouns on your character sheet, but of course.

Game mechanics sounds pretty interesting. There's a lot of cross player interaction.

Level up mechanics:

Right? I mean, Critical Role is an...interesting...group of people too. Don't they have a couple trannies?

Like the games sound fun, and then I'm reminded that the people interested in this stuff and the people building this stuff are all autistic and likely should be on watch-lists.

It has a lot of genuinely nifty game concepts. One of the more intriguing is the idea of "spotlight" rather than a strict initiative system. Basically that people take actions as part of an encounter narrative rather than because it's their turn in the turn order. I could see this being very helpful in keeping people from more-or-less tuning out while they wait for their turn to come up.

That's crazy as hell. I've been subbed to Clownfish for years. I wonder if it was just a random Google search or he has visited FoH before.

I have the Daggerheart PDF and it's gay as fuck.

Mercer's wife is clearly a source of a lot of the super gay shit. You can see his shift from kind of "Hey I love DnD" to "Hey I love DnD and lets make every 4th character gay/trans/retarded"

Had a playgroup a couple of years back that started off normally enough, with a couple of dudes playing girls and what not. Completely fine. Then one of the "guys" started talking about how his teaching role was reducing his hours as an assistant because they felt his gender fluidity was impacting class. Guy showed up to the next session wearing pride-parade tier makeup and complained briefly about his gender journey and how it was impacting his work life. Another "guy" in the group (oddly enough, the other dude who was playing a female character) came out as gay to the group and started actively trying to romance the two other actual males who weren't clearly headjobs ingame.

GM thought it was awesome and continued to interject tons of gay/etc shit into every encounter, complete with constantly trying to have sentient gear that was incredibly gay/etc. Every bartender was a lesbian, half the dudes in town were married to other dudes, etc. I quit and the two coworkers I had in the group quit as well. It went from basically a normal DND game to the most faggoty shit possible. Bohemian Grove and Nixon faggotry.

I am 100% positive none of these people even thought about playing DnD before Critical Role came out. My opinion is it has been a net negative for tabletop roleplaying as a whole. They literally let the floodgays open.

Haha, that's pretty fucked up. I agree with the critical role thing 💯 though.

Anytime we ever played, everyone played a male character because we're a bunch of dudes cracking fag jokes during the campaign if the DM made a gay NPC shop keeper or something for a laugh.

Never had women play with us. Closest was this guy from work who was a 3.5 power gamer, which was annoying. He caught wind of the campaign I was running at work and asked if he could join. Wasn't a bad guy, just min maxing seriousness while I was running a pretty easy going / fun game.

Our ritual though was on Saturday we would take turns when we met at my buddy's house, and someone would typically bring stuff to make a big dinner for everybody. I think the second time he played I had made a massive pot of homemade spaghetti, and he asked if his wife could come over and join us for dinner when we were taking a break. Said sure, what the hell, there's plenty.

She was like 5 ft, and almost as wide. Bitch proceeded to 3 massive plates and maybe half a baguette of garlic bread. The rest of us just sat there in shock. There wasn't a lot of leftovers. He never asked to invite his wife over again.
