“Build defining itemization” … yeah definitely don’t see any of that in the video. All the items were generic slop.

Not sure about procedural generation for levels. That usually results in everything feeling generic.

They have my attention, mostly due to who they are, but so far it looks like more of the same, and the aesthetic and tone are very Diablo 3 (not a good thing).

Yeah. Look at these build definers they showed. I'd hate to see what the non-build definers are. I'll still watch it as I'm an ARPG fan, but that's a pretty lame first impression.

Affix bloat like Diablo 4. Just the very idea that you have Burn AND fire resists sounds retarded.

Games probably fine. But I doubt its anything special.

I'll most likely try it when it releases because I like ARPG and play most of them at least one playthrough, and it looked pretty cool to be honest.

I hate magic, gold, and exp find on gear too. They always just become a default to try to reduce the grind and you end up just looking for those instead of actual build defining items.

Voxel based terrain destruction sounds like a TERRIBLE idea in an arpg.

building and destroying terrain will be a feature. But its going to be terraria at BEST. they will need to make all the bosses etc, phase through blocks to avoid terrain cheese and a.i. problems.
