Hey All,

So this is a very big, broad question that depending on how this thread goes can get into more detail.

1. Does anyone have any experience with Data Warehouse design? (i.e. Star Schema vs Snowflake, time series data etc.)
2. If so does anyone have any experience with Amazon Redshift? As an aside, we are a fully committed to running everything at AWS (if you aren't, you should really take a serious look).
3. Do you, or do you know of anyone (or company) who can consult with data warehouse design that you've had good experience with.

Question, you talk about data warehouse design but what is the actual goal of the project? I used to work at Teradata but have moved on to a OLTP startup. I would caution against lockin on AWS if your future state may end up onprem, GCE, Azure, or another platform as well.

I notice you discuss time-series data. A lot of datawarehouse techs are really terrible at doing much in terms of timeseries!
