That's the fucking point you ape, the first sceenshot makes it look completely different than the second one and you posted it to try and spin it as if he isn't doing this because of the lawsuit when he is doing because of the fucking lawsuit.

DBG does in fact care about the subreddit. They said so in their most recent court filing. They might not have asked him to take it down, but that's very fucking misleading.
By the way the lawyers on both sides disagree with your full retard take and agree with his.

Tell me more about the weird alternate reality you live in. Facts are fact man. DBG would love it if they could sanitize r/Everquest the same way their own message boards and discord are sanitized. The injunction gives them to the power to do that to some degree. Not accepting this doesn't change the fact that Reddit mod is right. He is just saying what the lawyers on both sides are saying.

Well I’ll trust you on this since all your other legal assessments in this thread have proven correct so far.

Lol go back and read some of the darts he threw at the board early in the thread. I don't think a single one was right, but I don't care enough to go through all of them. Think the first one I saw in the first page was something about:

"I don't think THJ even makes 6 figures a year and once dbg finds out they will drop the case".

Turns out they made that in a month.

"In addition to Defendants, many individuals operate online using Pseudonyms"

Adding this part before from Daybreaks original complait.

"Defendants DOES 1-20 are individuals whose identities are currently
unknown to Plaintiff but who have materially contributed to the development,
distribution, or promotion of THJ. They include individuals who have contributed
code to the project, assisted in its distribution, pa1iicipated in its administration,
engage in promotion activities, or otherwise, acting along and in concert , facilitated
its infringing activities."

Does 1-20 are 1-20 people(John/Jane does) that can still be named by Daybreak.

Then in the second Screencap it mentions Discord, Reddit and Youtube. Followed by "Defendants have participated in and fostered certain of these"

Those Defendants can be any of the unnamed Does in the original complaint. Daybreak can easily argue that r/everquest mod "promoted THJ." Which is what the mod is scared of.

Edit: so when your tranny friend calls it Malicious compliance he's lying. It's just cautious. When you say "But Daybreak didn't send him any messages directly" They don't need too, they're threatening unnamed people in the suit and as the head of r/Everquest he's got a big target on his back.

Yeah but what are you talking about with “your friend that isn’t even honest about his gender is lying”? Which friend? What is their lie?

r/everquest has been locked and is marked private. No new posts, comments, or users are being added going forward. Daybreak does not want anyone using their owned IPs without explicit prior approval. I've reached out on multiple occasions to partner with them and each time was met with the same response of they are not interested in reddit. Now that they are actively going after people who are using their IP without their permission. Since they won't approve it, it was shut down.
The subreddit is going to remain private going forward. I am still the mod for that sub and I am still active here on reddit. The sub has not been abandoned and since I am still active on reddit, the request a sub feature will not apply.
This is the only post I will make here because 1. I am done with anything owned by DBG and 2. I am sure the clowns running this sub are about to ban me.
I will leave you all with this - be careful using the IP. It has been proven no one is safe and they are looking for people to push blame on for them ruining the game.

No one here actually believes a subreddit moderator is going to get sued. Only you and the moderator; and I really struggle to believe you guys think this in good faith.

If he genuinely fears this then he ought to transfer ownership. Perhaps to someone like Rogean or Secrets since they’ve already got deals with DPG. Of course he won’t relinquish ownership willingly, and he doesn’t genuinely believe what he said.

Also, Secrets saying it is malicious compliance (did they say this? I may have missed it, idek) isn’t a lie. Even if you and this mod are totally correct (I’ve never seen either of you be correct about anything so this is strictly hypothetical) it wouldn’t make Secrets a *liar*, it would just make them incorrect.

Thinking anyone that didn't get paid by THJ to promote THJ is going to be liable for anything is about as stupid as thinking THJ was going to win the lawsuit. Hell, thinking even if you're an "influencer" and got paid to promote them you'd be liable in some way is beyond retarded.

Since when is getting paid a requirement for copyright infringement? Does not being liable mean Daybreak can't try to bring them into the court proceedings? It's funny all of you agreed the opposite was true when the Turtle WoW stuff dropped. But now we gotta be bad faith about it i wonder why...

Thanks for saying the quite part loud.
