Plot: Shuhei Sakata, accused of killing his wife and child, and then supposedly failing to kill himself with a gunshot to the head. Though actually innocent, he is sent to a prison hospital, where he stays for 15 years, remaining disabled. After he is released, he has a fateful encounter that allows him to recover his physical abilities.

First act, banger. Hooked. Second act, alright let's see how it shapes up.

Third act, fumbled. Giant "Wait a minute we have to make these moments matter" Desperately adding scenes and flashbacks to establish these characters more in the final 10 minutes of the movie. Oof.

Hack job amateur storytelling, but some very well directed wide-shot action and stunts with interesting characters. Just fumbled hard on the finale.

If you are a fan of Asian action thrillers it's a watch but not must-see.
