Awesome man! So glad it worked out. The ability to make the bone denser with the right grafting techniques, or widen the ridge via particulate or possible block grafting has gotten really amazing. Great result. Usually you have six months for the bone to "take" ie vascularize, then you have about a year before the bone begins to resorb. If they did some sinus stuff like bump, I'd get it done as soon as the OFMS releases it.
IIRC they took a tiny piece of bone from up top when they were putting in the anchor for the top implant, (i.e. from my sinus area) and then planted it in the bottom.

Believe it or not, after the half a year delay in the middle of proceedings due to my kidneys I am still waiting for the last crown to get back from the manufacturer to get that bone grafted post a "proper" tooth put back on top of it. I've spent a year essentially only eating on the left side of my mouth due to missing crap on the right. heh

But it will be nice to have it done and behind me, should probably happen next week, maybe the week after.
