So I was having blue screens of death with a variety of different error messages that all indicated corrupt windows install, bad hardware drivers, memory issues, etc.

I just removed my GPU and one stick of ram (only one in now). I installed a fresh copy of Windows 11 on a new-in-box SSD and ran the Windows Memory Diagnostic and go no issues.

Anything else I should do to either give my system a clean bill of health before reinstalling the GPU and other RAM stick?

Good sir, you have landed on the wrong side of the fence. You want to be on this side.

That being said, strip out every component you can and see if the issues persist. Wouldn't hurt to try booting from a linux USB to rule out anything software wise.

Both case descriptions say they can handle 420mm, but the regular Flux is a "mid tower" rather than a Full like the pro. Looks like the Pro has 2 inches more room in height and width. That's a lot.

Also, that dude's teeth are terrible.

Dunno why it doubled up the quote there.
the flux pro just has a bit more room, it should be labeled a "full tower" instead of a big mid tower, if youre going for a more compact case and also still handle a 420 then yea the flux standard is fine imo, the pro also has the lcd screen? kids love lcd

I feel it's worth mentioning how retarded I am. As some know I work in server hardware and I've built dozens of PCs for people. My latest being the 9070xt/9800x3d build for myself.

I was gaming this week and the 9070xt sounded like a fucking jet engine (I'll embed if it lets me). I was like damn this is the loudest card I've ever heard. Scoured reddit and people said basically yes. This card is loud.

Then at the bottom, a buried comment
"Make sure you're GPU brace isn't pushing on one of the fans and making it stop."

I thought lmao what retard would do that. Imagine my surprise when I was indeed that retard.

Noise went down 50%, and my temps went down 10C while gaming. It's still a somewhat louder card, but Jesus Christ I am retarded. I don't even think I need the GPU brace because while it's a big card it's not THAT big.

I did get the pro in the end. Both would probably work, but the larger of the two gives me headroom for revisions in the coming years.

vertical mounting is always an option

It comes with that? lol, I didn’t even read the description, just the dimensions.
guess you missed my followup post, yea, it's on the bottom side front (they are doing a lot of that now, doing something special with that area from small lcd's to full on lcd scrolling, b/c that area is kinda needed to be open space to "scoop" up the cold air from the bottom front and direct it towards gpus

Sweet. Even more excited to see it all together and in action.

Is vertical mounting worse for airflow or anything? I may look into it

Bro I learned the hard way to leave server hardware alone. Or as I put it to my then boss: The PC's I work on come with great user manuals that I can read and analyze. This server assumes you went to school and know how to work on it. You can send me to the school, or hire the guy I told you to hire.
It was some old as fuck Raid 6 server that turned out to have a bad RAID card as I recall.

God bless those unsung internet autists scribbling the wisdom of the world on what's effectively the bottom-corner tile in a truckstop bathroom stall. They've saved my ass more than once when every other avenue had failed.
