While X3D help with memory latency and speed, look for DD5 6000 CL30 instead.

Yeah, might not be best ram, but something I can maybe look into in future. This is a package deal from Microcenter. Proc, RAM, and mo-bo for a great savings of like $150 or so. And last time I asked a few years back, you cannot switch or change the packages they have. So it is what it is. Youre basically getting that RAM for free.

Spend a little extra on the platinum cert PSU. You have all that nice hardware in there don't feed it with a psu full of Chinaman caps.

So yeah, shitty monitor for setting it up, 1080p but its pretty much on ultra running their benchmark in 2077. did try the full Ray Tracing and got about 60 FPS. So Ray Tracing is going to be kept off, lol.

Temps dont seem to be spiking any. This case (4x140mm fans) and the AIO doing some work... Its about 74F/23c ambient right now.

Pretty happy overall. I know on the 3070 with 11700K Cyberpunk on med-high 1080 ran about 90FPS. So nice increase there.

BG3 was the same, about 200+ FPS on ultra 1080p.

Whats even crazier is this new WI-FI they have on this board. Since im in the dining room with no hardline setting this thing up. 800mbs+ downloads. How crazy is that?

This case I got I watched a few videos on it before buying and im realy happy with it. Little bit bigger than my old lian-li but solid overall. Nice cable management, came with a fan/led hub built in, easy to build with. came with 4x140mm fans which pump a lot of air. $85, loool. Looks pretty good too.

Make sure you turn on resizable BAR in bios, it's often off by default and can improve performance quite a bit on AMD chipsets

Can someone help me find something? Lanx Lanx ?

I just made a 8ft 3in x 30in wall mounted desk in a little alcove at home. I have a big PC tower that I'd like to hang underneath the desk. Either just hang it under there, or get a, uh, bolt on cabinet style thing that had built in fans and power strip? Is that a thing?

I saw some super expensive server room stuff for $500-$1000, but that seems excessive.

Something like an under desk computer bracket? Can't speak to the quality of that one, but is that the type of thing you're looking for?

Sure, that's along the lines of one route I was thinking. I'd prefer to get something where I can conceal a bunch of cables too, but I'll probably pick this up if I don't see something better. Thanks
Yea theres a few, if you dont want the one that looks like a carnival ride seat that Denamian Denamian linked like this standard looking one basic mount

So i need to get a new computer soon, prob around a Labor Day Sale.

I'd like something ideally that
A) I could run a game like RE4Make in the highest settings possible
B) I can process videos on Vegas as fast as possible.
or something close to being able to do that anyway
my budget is going to be around $2K

are you looking for diy or prebuild?

Prebuild

I typically buy from cyber power
I just got this from Newegg and literally came in an hour ago. Fired right up and I'm impressed with. Don't know if it's good for video editing, but its sale for 2k after the site promo code.

https://www.newegg.com/abs-gaming-d...2gb-ddr5-2tb-ssd-eurus-ruby/p/N82E16883360758

Only thing I had to do was put in another SSD, but the case is awesome. Just magnetic door that swings open. None of the cables were loose or anything, and not a single scratch or dent. I was a little apprehensive buying a pre-built but I'm glad I did.
