I’m wanting to move my Xbox to my desk and use my keyboard/mouse on both my PC and Xbox without having to unplug anything.

Is there a kind of switch that will allow me to use the same input for both systems? I’m guessing I’d plug my keyboard/mouse into the switch and the switch into both the PC and Xbox.

Use bluetooth.

I have a Keychron K5 keyboard, and I use it for 3 devices. I just press FN+X to get the different one.

FN+1 = Macbook
FN+2 = work laptop
FN+3 = gaming pc

Depends on your mouse, though. My work pc + macbook are plugged into a dock station where I plug my Logitech G305 into the dock station, so I dont have to switch it when switching computers. But I do have to switch the mouse usb when gaming w/ the gaming computer.

You could use a bluetooth mouse and have the same setup as the Keychron switch feature.

Grabbed a USB switch for my current setup and also grabbed a Keychron + mouse in case I just wanna go wireless.

So, fun fact. The input delay on a keyboard/mouse to Xbox S is SO BAD. Tried to play Fortnite and it was pretty much unplayable and that's after spending an hour trying to get my mouse DPI and in-game sensitivity to curve properly. I eventually realized the TV wasn't on game mode, but even that was only a mild improvement. Still unplayable.

Anyone been able to figure this out?

if I use my Xbox series x on my tv (claims to have 8 ms latency, 4K 60hz) vs using my 4070 ti with the same hdmi 2.1, even with both controllers or both mouse, it’s a noticeable latency difference.

the 4070 into monitor > XSX into monitor > 4070 into tv > XSX into tv

If I use my XSX, it’s on my computer monitor bc the latency is so bad on my tv. But it’s a Sony x90j QLED not an OLED. Not sure if that matters.

have you tested the Xbox m/k on your monitor? That would be telling if it’s your tv vs your monitor latency issue.

I'm at my parents currently, so it's on an old Samsung. I'm not even sure the TV has a Mhz setting.

My monitor is an LG C4, so will test that when I get home.

So, you're saying even in the best case there's noticeable lag when you play Xbox with keyboard and mouse?

Anyone have a link to that tool that lets you build your own winblows 11 installer with the winblows spybloatware carved out of it?
Been meaning to do this if I ever install 11.

Just did a sff build and I have to say im very happy with this case i got for $70 around black friday. Wanted the fractal terra at first but wouldve been a pita for my fe 3090.
Side fans as exhaust with the case flipped so the gpu gets air from the top.

I currently have an RTX 3070 powering my 4k 42" lg.. it performs pretty well in the games that I play, but if I wanted to max out Cyberpunk at 4k, what video card would I have to upgrade to?

Did you go with an AIO or a regular heatsink? Pretty slick case, BTW.

I have this same build, almost to a tee. Today I checked temps and my cpu was at 65° during battlefield 6. I did not do the gpu flip thing.

meshroom d
7800x3d
4070 ti
Peerless assassin mini
1x140mm arctic p14 pro exhaust fan
1x90mm arctic p9 pro exhaust fan
Corsair platinum 850w sfx
MSI B650 I edge

I swapped the fan out of the peerless assassin mini with an arctic 120mm p12 pro.

runs very cool. I made 1” wooden blocks for the legs to stand on to give it a little extra air flow

With the 1inch blocks, flipping the case probably won't have a big difference for you.

I went with https://www.noctua.at/en/products/nh-c14s it does reach 90c during cinebench but sits around 60 during gaming and it is quieter than I expected.

Beautiful cooler. Noctua is goat.

Maybe it's the tariffs, but they seem to be on their way to pricing themselves out of the market. I say that as someone who has an embarrassing amount of Noctua products. They might still make the best air coolers, but you can get 90-99% of the performance these days for 33-50% of the price. especially if you don't mind a little more noise.
