Get the extra stick. rtx 5080 going to be a big chunk of that. They have a 5070ti version? Might be able to shave some cash off and still get really good performance. And I guess shop around some unless microcenter works best for you. Just checking around some other prebuilder sites and places like StarForge also offer some good products with standard cases/components for about what the MC system costs but a lot more options.
This is their only prebuilt with a TI https://www.microcenter.com/product/713597/powerspec-g767-gaming-pc I am not opposed to the idea.

Grabbing this one now with more ram. It has the T force in it for another 429.00 to bring it up to 64.

Nah I have some good ones already. Well, good for me, I have the 3K for the racing sims, the 2k for general use and the 1080 in portrait for misc.
Nah don't upgrade monitors that will cause a dragon chase you will have to rob a bank to afford.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe I wasn’t clear or I’m misunderstanding you, but the good pc is going downstairs hooked up to my big tv permanently. Im looking for whatever would be easiest to put back into the office hooked up to the monitor in there for my wife to use when she needs to type stuff for work or wants faster internet browsing, as in tabs opening/swapping, then she gets on her slow Chromebook. She just wants to sit at a desk and have snappy efficient usage as if I had left the expensive desktop in there. Fiber 100gig up/down on eero mesh WiFi that has those speeds throughout the house.

something like a Nvidia shield might work, although I am not that familiar with those. I tried moonlight if that’s similar but it was from the pc to an lg c4 which I’m sure is weak compared to the shield.
Imo, if you're just doing office stuff, it's hard to beat an old Thinkpad or similar from ebay (or optiplex if you'd rather have a desktop). I have a few laying around for random stuff i don't want to use a real computer for.

Wow that is a real dick move. I use alienware for a lot of stuff because you could by 'most' of a PC from them and add your own stuff and it wasn't proprietary. I used this case , for instance on multiple builds. It was originally a Pentium Pro overclocked to a mind blowing 233mhz!

The one beside it was the first water cooled unit I built , OCing a Core 2 quad. Also pictured, a real 5.1 PC sound system , lack of cable management, and my first flat monitor.

I just bought one of these. You can probably get cheaper if you're ok with less ram. They should be more than powerful enough for all the office/non-gaming needs. This bad boy is beefy enough to run a hypervisor with multiple operating systems

Got lucky with this one. It came with a USB power module and a kioxia nvme drive. I'm going check for it has dram. If so, the ram and nvme might be worth more than the machine.
