Dev screen in the second video shows an Alt button tooltip so it seems this will have some PC crossover even if they haven't confirmed it yet.

Closed alpha started today and I have to admit the gameplay is closer to Destiny proper than I expected. Performance is good and it doesn't destroy my battery (Pixel 6 Pro). Have only played touchscreen so far because I don't have a controller while traveling. Can't speak yet to how p2w it is or not.

Very much a full on gacha game with many systems copied from other popular ones. There's a good variety of play here and the gacha aspects don't seem like a huge deal. I'm currently time gated on progression because chapters unlock through daily bounty/challenge rewards, so I haven't had an opportunity to test everything.
Characters have banners but that's it, no signature weapons from pulls. Guarantee is at 60 and there's a knockout system that shows exactly what your set of 10 pulls will entail.
I set it up on Bluestacks so I could use mouse and keyboard and that was a huge step up. Always being in first person makes it feel much more like Destiny. I don't really understand why they are faking like a PC port wont eventually come out. Even in some of the tutorial screens you see things like "Press G to Finish" in the explanation videos, lol.
