It's been getting weaker after the first 2 episodes. Needs to make it a few more episodes to see whether its schlock or not.
Definitely would not pay to subscribe to a streaming service just for this at this point. Maybe after the first 2 episodes you could get baited on a subscription.

It's settled in, and using flashbacks of the Prequel abortion (and bringing the prequel series into canon) has me suspicious it could jump the shark.
It was a blessing the 2 pilot episodes were so strong. I didn't expect it to carry A1 Dexter through every episode of the season. But the last 2 episodes had me readjust my expectation. I have it on week-to-week wait and see after those prequel flashbacks.

Was an interesting twist, like it wasn't surprising at all given the name but still pleasantly surprised. Was very much an " oh, yeah that makes sense"
Most unbelievable part was the drink switcheroo. Was half expecting a princess bride style "surprise, I've spent the last 10 years been building up a tolerance to m99"
