I'm also a bit surprised that they saw the requirements come down the pipe to increase the gold limit from X to Y and no one noticed that the number straddled an important computer science number and verified the data types would be fine. But stuff gets overlooked I suppose.

Unsigned integer is compiler-dependent, if they really didn't use a type def. So it depends on what the compiler thinks an unsigned integer should be. Since it took "billions" of gold to overflow the variable, they got a 32-bit integer of some sort (~2 billion to overflow signed, ~4 billion to overflow unsigned) whether they specifically called for it or left it up to the compiler (which would be a mind-blowing mistake); UINT16 would have already ran into overflow issues prior to the change to 10mil stacks since it tops out at ~65k.
Still, that is an embarrassing fuck-up since UINT64 is the obvious choice. And as Tenks said, this should have been caught by a cursory unit test and should NEVER have made it live.

Bottom line, Blizz has really dropped the QA ball if they let something that egregious end up going live.

10mil RMAH gold stacks are now live. I assume they actually tested them this time. The 10mil stacks now sell for damn near $0.25, so the official gold market just devalued by 10x overnight. I haven't checked how this translates to actual item pricing on the RMAH, but there could be some serious flux right now.

One year mark huh? Maybe I am misjudging it but in my opinion the changes they made in one year are worth about 3-4 months and they wasted the rest of it away. Thats the impression I have from playing at release, two weeks in september and again two weeks after 1.07 hit.

Nope nothing really game breaking has been added since the game has been released. Maybe the expansion will deliver it.
Shit would have to be ground breaking, i feel like they are going to try and just re use runewords in the expac.
Edit, i logged on today during the dota 2 qualifiers down time joined a pub game on mp5 (gear aint there yet but w/e) ran smooth i just wish there was some drive to keep me playing, mp5 or mp10 its still just monsters, just wish i had gotten a piece of that gold dupe, so i could just deck out a barb that could do mp10 then id just log in every now and then and run it.

I solo mp10 on my barb no problem using ~20m worth of junk I bought. AH is bananas these days for what you can get for next to nothing.
If you have blizzard fun bucks left over from before now is probably the time to buy gold as well, can get 10m for ~38 cents.

Your HP is kinda low. I recommend crafting VIT shoulders over STR, you want 300+ combined VIT STR (so 200 VIT, 100 STR), and AR (%life is also really nice). Shoulders roll the least damage stats but all the EHP stats, therefore making it one of, if not the best slot to make up those stat budgets.
Tri-IK aren't really that good for their price. What's your APS with WOTB up? Your target should be 2.5 on both swings.
You have too much leech. You only need it on two spots as a barb. I recommend keeping the IK belt over witching hour (and look for another IK belt with VIT also) and dropping bloodlust for brawler.
The cold SOJ is ok, but it really needs -4 or 5 to HOTA to be legit (I realize you are using rend, but unless you have a Skorn, HOTA is universally better). Also, your DPS is too low to truly make use of the SOJ. I would get CC/CD STR/VIT ring. You're missing 12% CC and 100% CD from both rings, that's huge.
The IK chest should be a VIT roll, filter 200+ VIT 100+ STR
If your resists are below 550, I would recommend a 63+ AR Innas.
Weapons look fine for now - eventually you will want a higher dps EF. Your mainhand is great.
Also, get some better gems

Can currently solo mp10, but generally don't as it seems more efficient to just clear mp5 like 3 times as fast. I'm not even sure if my skills are proper for whirlwind, as I haven't changed a thing since I last played, but it seems to work fine still.
