Not sure if directed at me or not, but I will comment anyway. I'm very surprised at how wide an arc LTK can hit sometimes. I'll feel like I'll have to reposition a bunch of mobs and nope, LTK has 3-4 of them stunlocked, hammer away. It's the reliability of hitting that seems suspect.

EP causes an absurd amount of cyclones to spawn. They were referring to it as an exploit in the monk build thread on official forums, not sure that it actually is though. If EP ticks like 8 times a second it seems like it could easily crit enough to fill the screen with cyclones (which is exactly what it does).

I wish that was true but the shitty 1H weapons I'm getting with 1150-1250 dps and no socket don't even come remotely close to killing as fast as my 1420 dps Skorn. Even with 400-450 dex on the 1H's and the Skorn being str because it used to belong to my barbarian...

I tried a build like that. I had to push more then one button and I didn't care for that. It's like the exploding palm build from pre-patch. I mean sure you could clear entire rooms on mp10 in like 3 seconds but that required kiting mobs to group them up then getting cyclones going then counting hits and blah.

With TR I can play my dragon breeding game for super casual faggots on my phone while farming. I hold down one button and collect loot.

I mean if I group with other people sure I'll play a respectable build and actually give a shit. But when I'm farming on my own? Whooopwoopwoopwoopwoop. It also doesn't help that I'm playing on a shitty laptop for the time being and all my gear is built around TR'ing so it sucks for doing anything else. 200k dps, 0 toughness yay!

Oh hey, when did reputations points around here get nuked? Or do I just have those off. So glad that shit is gone. It's not like we didn't know who the faggots all were anyways. Just made going into EQ threads dangerous to your reputation e-peen if you didn't slobber all over EQ's tiny peener.

Oh, the damage from EP causes cyclones to spawn? Didn't think dot crits could do that. Either way, a resounding meh. Single target 9s dot + 23% cyclones ain't going to kill anything fast, unless you're talking about making your video card choke amounts of cyclones. SW(and the Cyclone rune) is a damage augmenter, which is exactly why it isn't classified as a spirit spender either.

Was finishing my Witch Doctor earlier, for some reason I had stopped at 59 instead of 60 and then took the wizard out to check it out(it wasn't pretty, fucking budget CMWW gear, I have super fast attack speed and no dmg, great with a limited pool of arcane power and no good WW anymore). Play a DH for a few days and you hate playing every other fucking class. Fucking Vault+Tactical Advantage makes everything else plays like it's turn based combat, even Wiz with teleport worm hole was slow as shit.

I really want the DH set too, the one that gives all the pets and sentries shooting spenders. Sadly doubt I'll have the patience to farm that long, getting an entire set without trading(not even talking AH just trading) is gonna be too much for me most likely. Oh well.

My old WW build doesn't work exactly like I'd want to, I think I need a new build but the D3 forums are an abortion. Anyone got anywhere to start? I watched Kongor doing some crazy build with avalanche maybe and some other stuff but I couldn't find his exact build.

Anything would help at this point.

I don't know how good this build actually is, but I'm running a rend/charge/warcry/Beserker build with maniac frenzy and boulder toss at the moment Noodleface. I can farm MP 3 comfortably and what I consider quickly with about zero chance of dying. Basic idea is get a big pack together and chain charge to build fury then drop a full bar boulder toss on whatever. Things just explode. Rend is there for added damage and life steal, while warcry adds some durability and a quick fury capper when I can't chain charge due to low mob density.

I should add that I'm running a very nice legacy skorn as my weapon, and I don't think I would have quite the same results rocking current 2 handers or even some of the nicer one handers.

Costs too much discipline, can't sustain very long and forces you to use prepa too. Vault tumble is relatively cheap unless you really need to move around without fighting anything(like keywarden) and with prepa basically gives you TA permanently, but smokescreen is only really good for very short bursts like core of arreat runs or shit like that.

Just got my wiz to 60 last night. I've been playing a Disintegration build since lvl40 or so (it's basically the only button I press) but would like to try one of those stunlock builds I keep hearing about. Could anyone post a build? What sort of secondary stats are most useful such a build, and are there any must have legendaries to go with it?

Wizard - Game Guide - Diablo III

Maybe not a pure stunlock build I guess, but I use this to good effect in T1-T4. As far legendaries go, I'm just doing +gooder at this point. I'm at 213K dps self buffed and mobs are pretty easy to melt up through T2. With my gear, I'm most efficient at farming T2 for Paragon levels solo.

Thanks I'll try this out. I'm running with what was really good legacy gear (high dps skorn), so I'll check it.

I don't know what I'm using for lightning build but it isn't this and the servers are down so I can't check armory... edit: Should have just checked before I posted:Falstaff - Community - Diablo III

I am the same as Silence in that I can pretty easily solo T2 or T3 but I have kept it on T2 because it's much faster for solo leveling.

If you have the pattern Noodle, start crafting Archon shoulders of whatever stat is your main. Those Vile Wards are even worse than mine but I have been lazy in crafting.

also the 6 affix bracer pattern if you have it... Razorspikes of whatever.
