Indeed... a new class and long overdue stash/QoL enhancements does not an expansion make. And we can now buy the game for a third time - original CD release and expansion, D2 Resurrected, and now on Steam which is most gamer's preferred platform but just like Diablo IV there is no B.net<-->Steam license/key sharing. Valve needs to work out a system for $1 activation keys or something for situations like this.

Adding new classes/uniques/runewords/whatever is kind of a joke if they aren't willing to address the issue of enigma/teleport existing, or even just skill balance in general.

I agree, $25 is kinda steep, but I'm a slut for d2 and this is honestly one of the best things Blizzard has released in recent memory (which isnt saying much but...)

I mean for context LOD was $35 in 2001 or $70 in today’s money. Agree it’d be cooler (but probably way more controversial depending on content) if they released an Act 6x

The new class is so phoned in its pretty comical.

Its like some kid said "wouldn't it be cool if all this OP stuff other classes can do was combined into a single skill for every skill on a new class?!" And the Blizzard devs said, YES!, but thats not enough, we need to make it 10x stronger. And then they just released it that way. There was no attempt at balance whatsoever.

Sure people have fun with OP stuff for a while but what exactly are you paying for? Warlock is the equivalent of fanfic slop. Anyone could have made that class.

So if a company, and its developers, can put almost no effort whatsoever into the things they release as "expansions" and people still buy it and are willing to defend it. Why should they ever do anything else? Low effort pays.

I was hearing the new DLC breaks away from "classic" D2R and potentially opens the window to do more stuff with it. D2R and Warlock versions are separate allowing them to keep the classic experience for those that want it while allowing the warlock version to be expanded/modified.

Edit - I am in late for the bitching about the pricing. And that is in Canadian Yuan.

Edit 2 - Watched that vid - nice to see someone at Blizzard played Path of Diablo and recognized QoL. Too bad they didn't pick up on the charm expansion to the personal inventory, because Diablo is about picking up items to me.

Edit 3 - I complain, but I bet I buy it on a whim in a couple of months. I am such a D2 cuck.

Im not overthinking it at all. You can make fun and powerful shit that is still balanced. The other classes may as well not even exist. This is low effort fan fic.

1969 Camaro. Right now I’m stripping it. It belonged to my dad. He has another he restored that’s a 69 Z28 to be as close to original as he can.

I’m thinking about tub kitting mine and putting a crate LS1 in mine. Upgrading the steering, brakes, etc. $$$$$

I have the original 350 block.
