Most people don't care either way, at least not more than in passing.

I think, as usual, you missed the point I was going for based on this post. ...and as much attacks as I get directed at me for my looks on this forum you're legitimately trying to say it's ME who has an obsession with judging appearances? Lmao... reality doesn't suit you too well does it?

Well, firstly, most people attack you for your appearance as a pile on. Your stances and posting personality throughout the years is the obvious precursor. Also, people shitting on your looks does not preclude you from being obsessed with judging appearances -- nice logic. See, almost all of the people that shit on you for looks aren't going around asking to see other people's pictures, shitting on those pictures, saying people are cowardly for not sharing pictures to someone who obviously just wants to shit on them, or making statements that believe there is a correlation between attractiveness and intelligence. Those are all things you've done and not just to one person (like your attackers). So, yes, of all the posts I've read on this site, you are the poster with the highest preoccupation with other people's real life pictures and judging them for it, hands down (and you do it in the very post I'm responding to, heh).

This is the kind of thing that makes it impossible to have a conversation with you. I literally said one doesn't preclude the other, you agree, and then you go back and make the same statement. I really think it is because you view FoH as this hive mind or something.

You could maybe make the claim that certain people take outsized enjoyment with attacking your appearance (a single individual) but if you're going to make the claim that other people are "obsessed with people's appearances" it's going to have to about more than one person. You, on the other hand, have routinely asked/demanded pictures and advocate for more and routinely remarked on appearances (known or imagined) of multiple forum goers, tens over the course of your time here. If I'm going to look at that evaluation for each person, I'm going to say the latter is the one more obsessed with appearance in general.

I prefer face to face dialogue the best... then voice... then text; I get that this is an internet forum and the platform is the platform... can't change that (wouldn't want to) but it's true that text is the 3rd removed way to effectively communicate. We've discussed this before... the irony is that this forum literally has ~45 different pr0n threads with very active users and posters keeping a dozen or so of those threads watered and flourishing. The entire point of porn is about coveting (or obsessing) someone's appearance to jerk your kirk. There's a reason fatties aren't in porn and we all know it... it's because beauty matters.

I mean, we were talking about forum members given the context of this thread and the post that started this back and forth. So a bunch of people jerking off and knees-to-sharping others isn't really germaine.

Obviously beauty matters, in many situations. On an internet text message board that is ostensibly a sharing of thoughts and ideas, it really doesn't matter what posters look like 99.9% of the time.

Not to mention you can't honestly believe there's zero risk at all given what suenig had to go through. Some people get carried away worrying about some liberal mob coming and destroying their lives but there's still a non-zero chance of some blowback, whether a vile person or not.

We've been on this ride before so I guess we just have to agree to disagree.
