I considered telling Vorph to make a thread, since he mentioned it. I think hes actually played it. I just watched someone stream it.

there is some swearing, nudity, and modern humor.

only episodes 1 and 2 are out.

3-8 are supposed to be released over 4 weeks.

lots of streamers are playing it. its a very streamer friendly. Tallying how many made various choices.



as he says here, if episodes 3-8 are anything like 1 and 2. its a serious game of the year contender.

My only real criticism is that episodes 1 & 2 felt more like the length I would have wanted a single episode to be. I'm concerned it's going to seem rushed once the main plot starts moving along. Everything else about the game so far is exactly what I hoped it would be after playing the demo.

"The Wolf Among Us" and "Tales from the Borderlands" ranks above this in my memory, however this is the best I've played in that style since. The spread out release has been preferable for me, knowing I don't have to devote a huge chunk of time to stay caught up and spoiler free. I end up thinking about it at work on the weekly drop day knowing I've got a solid 2 hours of content waiting.

I've got 2 save slots going, exploring different choices like team composition, love interest, call of the hero etc. and it's something to do on a different night before the next content drop.

Final drop is out November 12 so the whole thing will be available. I'd still space it out over 4 nights anyway if I came to it late but play how you want.

binged 1-6 yesterday, its a cyoa type game. Very fun invicible level cartoon where you make choices. Its probably about 5 to 8 hours of entertainment for 30 bucks or you can just download it somewhere.

Wish it had more of the exploration of a Telltale and wasn’t completely on a rail but I’m digging the story and the conflict of some choices. Excited to see where the story goes from here. The voice acting is pretty great.

The trailer for the final two episodes bills them as a 'season finale' now. I suppose with the kind of success they have had they are seriously considering doing a second one.

Did my first playthrough - I must have fucked up hard or did an odd run because I got this achievement lol. I'm pretty sure this is if you make choices that results in Visi going villain mode,

which was odd because I thought I was doing a heroes journey thing with her while being supportive and trying to go for the romance angle lol. I think I mostly fucked up during the open the safe event since that counts as not supporting Visi even if everything during the boat scene was successful and also siding with the z-team on removing her from the team afterwards, but in the locker room I still told her how I felt and also said I had let her down/forgave her for the confession she made.

Enjoyable story game, though. Characters were likable and the voice acting was great and I got invested in the story. If this was a TV series I would watch it.

Apparently there's like 6 variation endings. Depends whether you went for romance or not and if you revealed your identity.

I tried to go for Visi romance, but messed that up I guess since she flees at the end after she does something and I ended up friends with Blazer at end drinking beers on the car. I also didn't reveal identity after the bar fight, which apparently was a super low choice based on the post-chapter stats

I'll probably try another run with different choices. Also now that I understand the hacking game a bit more, I can probably win some of those I failed previously

The ending seems to hinge significantly on how you do in the final Dispatch session.

Robert may have an actual superpower given his ability to get beat the fuck out of and then be more-or-less good to go later that same day.

to be fair, everyone takes what should be fatal hits and just gets back up. I was on the, "roberts a robot/cyborg" train too. but yeah, everyone seems to shrug off fatal wounds.
