I'm pretty sure I saw Navi run Dendi AA at Dreamhack, vs EG and they stomped them. The idea wasn't bad, as seen by the AA ulti that instakilled wisp porting in at the engagement at the top

The bigger problem with that game is that IG had a semi stable start, then they just threw it away instead of continuing to play 4 protect sylar and focusing on punishing the wisp, they got lazy with dealing with track/wisp+1 and the game went out of control. Asian teams know they need to ban wisp, but they never play anyone who's a truly good wisp (in Asia) so they think they can let it through and it fucks them in the face. Chuan said if you remember that wisp would never work in the Asian meta - a huge insight into their first belief about the hero and just how wrong it was.
Puppey also has a very distinct banning style most of the time. He removes the heroes almost every game that he absolutely just does not want to pick or play against - like the morphling at ti2. He doesn't freak out and looks for counters in the pool to draft as opposed to impulse banning or overreacting to it.

Most of them have shitty "I'm a wigger I don't care about anything cause I'm too cool" attitudes on EG. Perfect example is Demon. I played against him a while ago and i was against him mid on batrider while he was on DK. He was trying hard (as he should, I dont believe trying is a fault because I'm not 8 years old) and did decently well against me. Then he started alternating farming lane and jungle and really got the items rolling in at that point. However, so was I and so was the morphling on my team. Long story short, the moment me and the morphling started catching him and destroying him, i turned on his twitch feed cause i was curious, and low and behold he was telling everyone in that little wigger voice of his "I aint even trying, busy doing other things here bros".
Thing is he 3 raxed us and we still won the game cause he threw like an idiot thinking he could solo us and we made him pay.
Little story that sums up the character pretty well IMO. I'm amazing when its convenient, I aint even trying if I get caught. Probably the reason he hasn't improved as a player and his team does shitty, doesn't wanna man up to his mistakes and finds excuses like a little brat.

Fear sucks at carry, Jeyo is doing work in their games.
I don't know why they went back to him carrying, as a captain he needs to be aware of what's going on. Instead you probably have angry fear farming his lane while the team runs around not knowing what the fuck to do.

Why does he suck at carry? Honest question cause I see him do really well on carries like AM/Alch/PL.
EG currently doesn't have a clue. Dota2lounge had their odds at ~50/50 in their matchup against Liquid in ADL and then EG lost 0-3 in a huge blowout. Thankfully I bet 4 rares on Liquid because they're a much better team, but EG just does not have it together recently. I want to like them but the personalities on their team just have not meshed and they sometimes play like pubstar trash when they think they're ahead.

I don't know how you guys in VHigh do it. Every very high game I've played had people with skill levels the tutorial would be too advanced for, egos so fragile that one unassisted gank turned into a throw, or was made up of 5 man hit squads.
Its like once you reach a moderate level of skill the only way to get a good (fun) game is to find four people and scrim other five man teams.

He's a good carry though, the problem is his team can't do shit most of the time if he goes afk farm to try to carry lategame. Especially these past few days they've went a lot of 1+4 setups with fear being the only real carry, but they can't handle that shit at all. Jeyo was ok as a carry but he had a lot of issues keeping up on farm in straight up farm games when they happened and that cost them a few games where like he'd have to compete with Black or serious Xboct and fall behind and they'd lose lategame. Regardless of what they do the issue is they have both Bamboe and Demon, and they're both unstable players who can't constantly get the same results in the same situations. At least Bamboe generally has the excuse of playing 4-5, Demon constantly fail even when he's mid or solo safe which is a fuckton worse.
I only watched a bit of the early game of game3 before I went to bed and in less than 10mins Demon had fed 3 kills to a solo Mirana and went 16mins naked midas. Like what the fuck.
If you look though this weekend EG played Dignitas and stomped the fuck out of them 2 games in a row by having Fear farm to god status and shit on them with PL and AM. His AM almost had 900gpm iirc. So it sometimes work, but it's basically DK strat and lately it's been fairly weak due to strong ganks strats(Naix+1 like Storm or Nyx or Prophet etc) and multicore splitpush strats.
